Nirkana

About Nirkana — Chennai's Event Orchestration Platform

Nirkana is a service marketplace and event orchestration platform based in Chennai, built on India's ONDC network. The company — Nirkana Private Limited — connects families and teams with verified service partners and manages the whole event end to end: one brief, one quote, one point of contact, from booking through to delivery. We don't plan your event for you and we don't run the vendors ourselves — we orchestrate them, and we're accountable for the result.

We're starting with birthday events in Chennai, doing one event type properly before we expand to more occasions and more cities.

What Nirkana is

Nirkana is a buyer-side app (BAP) on the Open Network for Digital Commerce — ONDC, India's government-backed open network for digital commerce. As a service marketplace on ONDC, Nirkana discovers and matches verified sellers on the network on your behalf, combines them into a single order, and coordinates fulfillment through to delivery. You deal with Nirkana; Nirkana deals with the partners. See how Nirkana works.

Why families choose Nirkana

No vendor hunting

Tell us about your event and we match reliable, pre-vetted partners for decor, cakes, catering and photography. You don't chase anyone individually.

One point of contact

A single coordinator handles every partner on your event, so you're never relaying messages between five different vendors.

Built for how families and teams celebrate

Package options scale from an intimate home gathering to a hall full of guests, priced per guest rather than one-size-fits-all.

Accountability end to end

If a partner falls short, that's on Nirkana to fix — not on you to manage on the day. Orders placed through ONDC are also covered by the network's grievance framework.

Built on ONDC

Being a buyer-side app on ONDC means Nirkana isn't a closed, single-vendor service. We operate on an open network, which lets us discover verified sellers across the ecosystem, give you transparent per-guest pricing, and follow the network's shared rules for order status, cancellations and grievances. It's the foundation for scaling orchestration across categories and cities without locking you into one set of vendors.
